Dennis, free me from this suffering

Everytime I try to compile anything: model, scenery, bsp, weapons exported to jms file using 3ds max 2014 it gives me this error. I can export a simple box with no geometry errors with a simple texture and it will give me the error. On a different computer using a different tool install and 3ds max 2011 using the same files give no error but this one is the one I use for halo stuff. Any ideas? Halo HEK problem? 3ds Max problem?

probably max 2014's fault. It seems that the exporters don't work very well with it.

Just yesterday, I was able to take a very complex level (b30a terrain, the island from The Silent Cartographer level), modify it, and error fix it so that it compiled without any errors or warnings. Other times prior to that, I felt that the model geometry was improperly modified by 3ds max or the .jms exporter. But once you've seen that it can be done and what is required to make it happen, you'll feel like you've earned a qualifying degree ;)

Come to think of it, I am going to make a very, very involved level design video tutorial. The ones I've done so far will pale in comparison. I'll do every such complicated task that you would have in a 3ds max + halo task, including custom scenery design based upon a level's terrain, and even biped rigging. All in one quick, definitive video tutorial. All questions about 3ds max + halo answered therein. It'll be on my youtube page (halomodtesters).

That's not my problem >.>

My problem it's everything exported with Max 2014 to JMS using Bluestreak gives me an error but the same objects and maps exported using Max 2011 don't give me the error. I want a fix to the Max 2014 so I don't have to use 2011. Its not a geometry problem, how many times do I have to explain its not a geometry problem...

I recommend getting a student license for 13. And saving the 14 max in the 2013 format. Try exporting the same level in 13 and see if it works. I use 2014 for wrls so yeah.

I already did it, I used 2011 and had no errors. I just want someone to send me a fix for 2014...
