Msg. 1 of 4
I've got 40 textures in my map. If I add another - doing all the necessary naming stuff - I get this...
####ERROR reached end of file during parse... when I try to compile with tool.
If I remove the new texture, the map compiles fine. Is there a limit to the number of textures I can assign in 3dsmax - I notice that when I've added the texture in max (3dsmax8) it doesn't assign the name I have given it - instead just calling it 'No Name'
Any help much appreciated!

Tool wont work because it has no name. Do you actually add the bitmap or just the shader? If you have <None> in the bitmap in 3ds max, tool wont compile that. Add a bitmap or somehow make it so it's blank.

I added a new material. Selected the bitmap (from my data/map/bitmaps folder), entered the bitmap name where I should, but when I try to apply the new material to a surface the surface properties box says it has no name On a copy of the model I deleted all the materials - why do they still show on the model? :/ Is there a way to flush all the materials because I would rather do and just reassign them than have to uvw map everything again. I am gutted. Please help!
