Are there any potential benefits by modifying the textures of Halo's rasterizer blocks in the globals tag? I know that with k1LLa_FTW's "Composition" project, he was able to fix Halo's fog system (as demonstrated here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kh63OYUxL4). I assume that he accomplished this by perhaps tampering with the rasterizer files that deal with fog contained inside the globals tag? Any insight on this subject would be helpful.

If you want to tamper with stuff, just make backups and modify the maps with modding tools rather than HEK. You should get 90% of the options you'd get with HEK.

I can't say I have any other tools besides the Open Sauce-enabled HEK, let alone map-modding tools. I've also never heard of tehma, so I have no idea what that might be. I appreciate the responses, however.

I've always wondered what might come by modifying the rasterization textures by perhaps making them more high-definition, and perhaps gaining results in favor of potentially increasing the graphical quality of not just specific things, but the way the game is rendered through the rasterizer itself. I'll grab a bitmap extractor, I suppose, and start working on shaping-up the rasterizer textures and see if I gain any results.
