To the Halomaps Community; I present to you my remake of the Halo 1 mission known as Keyes. This map features updated enemies, newer weapons, slightly adjusted gameplay mechanics, different music, and an attempt at making this level overall more freaky.

As mentioned below, if you want to deactivate VISR mode, just type in pp_set_effect_instance_active 0 0 in the devmode console.

Btw guys, feel free to tell me what you think either by posting a comment on the video, or on here. Any constructive criticism is more than welcome, because I need to better myself for the next map I'm going to work on.

lol, it's going to take me 2 hours to download. I'll just download it when I go to bed and play it tomorrow.

Also, I would love to record this footage with commentary for my youtube channel.

lol, not true. Not only is it impossible to extract tags from .yelo maps, but seeing as how I'm not a member of CMT, I have no access to any of their new content whatsoever. I don't even think they have stuff for SPV4 planned yet, because SPV3 isn't even finished.

You do realise that both that and the spv4 thing was just sarcasm, right?

To make the map more challenging of course, and to renew the experience that people would have on Keyes. Basically, so it's not the same thing.

Yeah I did. Wtf did you do to the Proto Compound? As for suggestions, I don't have any atm.

I do plan to make an update, seeing as how a few areas of this map were flawed. That, and I want to make additional visual changes, in order to raise the fear factor. What I have planned so far is further modification of the Truth and Reconciliation's interior.

That, and also scenery adjustments, as well as making the level generally even more freaky than it was.

Also, does anyone have any requests for my next two maps? (Which are edits of 343 Guilty Spark and The Maw)

Hey guys, what was most difficult about this map? I'm making a new version right now and attempting to remove some of the flaws.

This map is freakin impossible on legendary. If anything I would suggest removing the speed boost because it actually makes movement harder when you slide across the ground. Also, could you beef the flashlight or something? Right now the map is just a massive compilation of 2 hours of ass-rape that I find it unplayable.

I don't know how to boost the flashlight, but I will if someone tells me how, definitely.

Could you remove the mario sounds please and the map looks good but some things should get updated :^)

What other things require an update other than the removal of the Mario sounds in your opinion?

I have already altered a few things that made this map impossible on legendary, of course.
