So I want to change the scorpion model in my own map. I downloaded this pack of models from halomap.org (http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=6488) and I was going to use the model from there. First I opened the new model in 3ds max, then I imported the old scorpion model with gmax importer and placed all the markers to right places and then deleted the old model from 3ds. Then, when I try to export the model with jms exporter, it says something like that I dont have collision geometry to export. Well I exported the model anyways but when I try to use tool to make the final model out of the jms file, nothing happens... This is what I typed to tool:
tool model vehicles scorpion (the jms file is in data\vehicles\scorpion\models)
And this is what tool says:
Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'
### scorpion.jms

And then its in the starting position.... So whats going on?
And also could use some serious help on making the collision geometry file, kinda new in this businnes Any help would be hugely appreciated!

if it says that there is no geometry to export, then you don't have your model or markers linked to the frame (which you wouldn't see if you imported it).

tool will ALWAYS say 'Couldn't read map file' lmao. (tool plz... stahp...).

this vid might help: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=4183

moving the markers while using the original animations might make things a little weird. I would recommend keeping it as close to the original as possible.

You should check out the tutorial section: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=1&sid=23
Alot of people have contributed to this community through some pretty awesome tutorials.
