Hey. Yeah yeah, we know, 343i technically has the last laugh about what happens to PC and CE. That being said, there's a petition to put PC/CE on Steam, which will draw attention to the matter at hand. There's a good possibility that since all of our raging about the GS shutdown has stayed relatively within our community, that word hasn't really reached anyone important's ears that people care if it survives or not.

Either way, signing it won't hurt anything, and there's really nothing to lose at this point.

Should be to 343i. Not Valve or Steam since they don't own the Halo Franchise and can't put it on steam without 343i.

Signed; anything to keep this game running is worth a shot. I mean we were given such short notice, and I mean just recently we've had a bunch of awesome projects being shelled out by content creators.

I hope we catch the eye of someone who can do something, who finds our story compelling, if not through our sheer numbers (which are probably relatively low compared to online communities of newer titles), through our dogmatic devotion to a decade-old platform that was the first step many of us took into the Haloverse that so many of us are a fan of today.

A lot of us have stuck with it over the years, though other games came and went; Xfire tells me I've been playing Custom Edition since 2007, and I was playing Halo PC long before I decided to get an Xfire account. Seven years, some of us have spent in the game that started a whole franchise and revolutionized the first person shooter genre, and many of us still haven't had enough of it. So many hours have we spent upon the virtual battlefields of Installation 04 and beyond, enjoying the company of friends and rivals united by common goals in a game we all loved, and wanting little more than the opportunity to continue the fight. I hope someone sees that.

Halo CE3 is what I love to do, it's like a 2nd job to me. If the halo servers shut down I'm afraid the community will too. I don't want to see that happen. If so that means CE3 will also go away. I don't want to see that happen. I've spent 5 years working with this community I don't want it to go away. So I have gone every where I can to promote this. I hope it helps.
