Hello Halo Maps Community, Finally I restarted my mod from scratch again. Take a closer look ------> [About the Mod]Source Files
- All Halo Shader Files [.fx]
- Two [.enc] that I build from the Halo Shader Files [.fx]
- One Original [.enc] that is not hardcoded and not heavily compressed
Since kornman00 not posted how he created the [.enc]. I do this, too. [Special Thanks]SAM [ME] Microsoft Bungie 343 Industries [Download]http://freakshare.com/files/1piz5zzb/-Release--Halo-CE-Shader-Source.rar.htmlEdited by SAM on Mar 8, 2014 at 07:07 AMEdited by SAM on Mar 8, 2014 at 07:07 AM

Could you be more specific about it? What does this mod actually change? And d3d9.dll? Edited by altis94 on Feb 28, 2014 at 09:03 AM

This Mod improve the OS-Shader Quality to render more realistic and better. I tested it with .yelo maps that I found here at this Forum. Not started yet to made my own OS-Shaders.
The Creator of the d3d9.dll is Kornner Studios. I use the Original d3d9.dll from Open Sauce Version 3.03 together with Open Sauce Version 3.1 to test if my Idea to improve the OS-Shaders works. Yes, my Idea works. The shaders are better now.

You can't just tell people something, and expect them to believe it. Show us some pictures first. Cause dlls hide some nasty viruses inside.

Well... I can't see anything improved. It's just the specular map doing all the work.

Its the Original CMT Spv3 the Truth and Reconciliation.yelo map. No changes was made here! CMT Light Bloom is disabled! Install Open Sauce Version 3.1 and add my Mod then start the game and enjoy.

The sorry comes a little bit late, because for a new Member here that share his Mod and Ideas with others to help to improve the Game the Halo Feeling why we play and enjoy Halo makes me worry why I post here or share it with others? Maybe I now understand others better why others hide his tags, his work, his ideas for private only? Now back to topic [About this Mod]I have sometimes crazy Ideas that I try out if it works where others never would try out or think to do something like that what I did. That is how I describe my Mod ----> A crazy Idea that works This Mod modifity how lights appear and change it at real time.

I really can't see much of a difference, but maybe it's just because it's a small screenshot. I'd be very interested to see some comparison pics!

Can do someone comparison pics for me? Because I can only Start through Steam Libary with Halo CE Commands. I was hope that I can do some Screenshots @ 1920x1080 using Steam Overlay like I did with other Games using Steam to do Screenshots. There is a notice able difference that this mod makes with the OS-Shaders. But its better if you see it with your own eyes that change what this mod makes. I would not post a mod that not makes a notice able difference.

Doesnt work if I hit the Print Tab? It holds the Game for a second but no Screenshots anywhere I looked everywhere where the Game could locate them?

For me it's program files (x86) ...because I have windows 8, which I suspect is the reason why my HEK is so retarded now.

A better approach to this improvement would have been to contact Kornman00, privately with a brief summary of what you did, and show some screenshots for comparison. Then show him what you changed in the source code. Instead of just coming out of nowhere and showing this off to the general public.
Unless you already did that. Edited by 1bobsam1 on Feb 28, 2014 at 03:52 PM

Take a look at the 1920x1080 screenshots. If you have made own OS-Shaders tags and Specular texture or Cube texture testing it with this mod. Some Texture form Halo, for example Reach, have inside the Alpha Channel a Texture that could be use for Specular Effects? I think that the Public should take a look at my mod for testing it to get a result (good/ or not good) and after that we could contact Kormann00 to show this mod what we what to see at his next update. Open Sauce Version 3.1 use dinput8.dllMy Mod Idea use the d3d9.dlldinput8.dll + d3d9.dll = The new Open Sauce Version 3.X.X Next is that the code from Open Sauce Version 3.1 [dinput8.dll] is more than 50% bigger than the from d3d9.dll! And the d3d9.dll overwrite not 50% from Open Sauce Version 3.1 Code.
