I don't know why, but my specular maps don't work when my normals are active. I can't really explain this.. since I have seen people doing it though, there must be something I am doing wrong? Also, is there a tutorial which can show me how to use the shader model extension properly? Thanks in advance.

Allright, thanks! It works perfectly! But still, when I add a normal map, the specular dissapears. This ONLY happens though when the normal has a value above 1 (in the section right above detail normal 1), but 1 is not enought to show my normal properly. Any way to fix this? Thanks so much for the help again!

This is a little exemple of what you can do with OS shaders. Edited by darksoldier on Feb 24, 2014 at 01:10 PM

Thanks again guys! May I ask something else too? Should the specular map coeficient has a value of 1 too?

Quote: --- Original message by: AlekosGR Thanks again guys! May I ask something else too? Should the specular map coeficient has a value of 1 too? I recommend something around 2. Higher is okay too, but Waffles suggests that you should not go over 20 for any of those coefficients or exponents. Play around with the settings a bit. Edited by Dumb AI on Feb 25, 2014 at 10:28 AM
