Hi guys, CE3 Productions here. We decided that it would be a good idea to make a patreon page for CE3. Don't worry you guys still get to see everything we make when we upload it. This is just to help us out. We have to pay for a lot of stuff and it gets hard to do it with just 2 people. Now with this you can help us where we need it most. 1 dollar can make all the difference. The more support we get the better the prizes that are given away at CE3. This could also mean with the support we get that we could give away prizes during HMU's and Game nights!

What a jerk :/

Donations go towards prizes for community members. We like to give out prizes every year and this will allow us to give better or more prizes. The only people who 'profit' are the community members themselves.

You can say the same thing about any other people you donate too, even if the cause is good.

If you do not want to donate, then don't donate.

Unless you don't win.

I've never been a fan towards donations at all but here goes me anyway.

1) If anyone does donate, it won't be a lot. I doubt we'd make more than $20 in a year (at an extreme max).
2) The website alone costs 7 dollars a month + 12ish for the domain each year (Godaddy).
3) The server costs 11ish a month as well. We use elitegameserver and you can just go on there and see.

So I don't think there is any need for "will all fiances go to CE3?" because honestly, we aren't going to make more money than our current expenses.

So yeah; if we get money there is no reason to not put it towards CE3 because we're already at a loss. If you don't wanna donate, don't donate. We'll still be here and still be doing CE3 + our other things.

We've been exposed.

Edit: And we have had a donation button on our website forever now (it's been doing great as you can tell from my above post), this is just a donation button with a few rewards for those who want to help out. And dontations are legal in the MGCR.

Plus, we need to pay for Bryan Cox (the "Epic Voice Guy"), who does all the transition voices during the show.
Either way, it'd be hard for the show to break eve, let alone get a profit...

A teenager playing some Halo is incredibly shady. This is the last I'll be talking about it. If you don't want to donate, don't donate. Any money will go to future investments. If anyone who donates would like to know exactly where there dollar will go, or wants to tell us exactly where it should go, just contact us. It's not like its that hard to message up if you have questions. But in your case, you're never going to donate, so it won't matter with you.

Normally I would only be interested in donations if its a kickstarter game i wanna play *cough*mighty no 9*cough*

but since u guys do ce3 which i watch every year and support i will really try and see what i can do :/

Lol. Im only asking because ever since my cousin got a brain tumor i donate money to stuff like humble bundle every chance i get so i can help the cause and also get some neat stuff :D

Nope. We are not a charity and people already don't believe that we're gonna spend the money on our own productions. I doubt people will believe us if we said we're gonna give some to charity.

k. but exactly what equipment are you investing in? HMU and the CE3 streams already look great.

Prizes, current expensive (more gamenights from this?), if we need to use Ustream, money to cover the ads so we can have an ad free stream.

If we were to gain money from donations we could be able to give out a bigger prize during CE3 14. Also we could give out prizes during HMU's too.

It was just an idea, and the idea will stay. Some people have already offered to help donate to support CE3 and it is incredibly amazing to know they care so much about it.

I will even have a chart showing where all the donations go to when we get them so you know we won't be pocketing money. Patreon shows all money given and so will the chart, just so you all know where your donation went. Whether it goes to server costs or prizes we give out, you will get to see.
