Dear Halo Map Editors

Please i need your help and i beg you to help me finish my first map.
I worked for hours really! and i minimalized all mistakes to maybe just 6 mistakes!
Unfortunately i didnt safe for a long time and then i deleted the sky, because this last 6 open edges seemed to be because of skywalls that i tesselated unintentionally.
Now im loosing my mind, because the 6 mistakes are now around 250 mistakes, because i cant attach, wield the sky to my map.

I would appreciate it very much if someone skilled in editing could help to finish my map as far that i can use the tool to edit the map with sapien and guerilla.
This map is maybe not very proffessional and for a good editor it looks like kindergarden^^ but for me this map means much.

So i would be very thankfull if someone skilled could help me out!

I used STL check: no errors
And the error report data of the ´´tool´´ file. But i couldnt fix it.
To fix the file you dont need the bitmaps, so i didnt upload the bitmaps.

Thank you very much in advance!

Here is the Link to my map:

The error is the fact that your sky isn't properly attached.

When you create a face for your sky, it must connect to all of the polys around the edge. At the moment your sky isn't connected to all of the polies on the edge.

Yes i know, but how can i fix that problem?
Before i had not many errors with the tool function (exporting)

Now that i deleted the sky and replaced it, it isnt attached anymore.

How can i fix that???

Please help!

Is there maybe a solution to save the map in creating a sky that is somehow melted with the existing surface? Or will that give other edge errors?

umm...

then attach it! Align the sky verts with the bsp, attach the sky and bsp objects if they're not 1 object already, then weld vertices

The map needs an awfull lot of the polygons reduced too, especially on top of the cliffs area, that will help reduce lag in game, you can also make your frame box a lot smaller though it doesn't affect anything, you just don't need the frame box to be half the size of the bsp. Still a good try for a first map :)

Muahahahahaha Otrolololololol

I solved my whole problem!!

Lol

its soo easy, why didnt i get it earlier???

I just extruded the selected edges of my map!
And inward i selected +sky bitmap and ..... my sky was back !!!

So simple!

Thx anyway for your tipps!
The Vertexes i minimalized in open surfaces with the optimize tool and the frame box i made mini.
