so far I am so close to finishining  building a PC.

Here are the components that I already included in the PC case.

Thermaltake Snow Edition Chaser A31 Case

Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z Motherboard

Memory ram 8gb (But I will include 4 memories ram in the slot which will make 32 gb I'll do that in a future time)

AMD FX6300 Black Edition 6 Core

DVD Drive

Now all I need is Hard Drive, graphics card and power supply then it's all finished :)

Here are the links that I am going to buy.

No, no, no, no, no guys this has nothing to do with CMT or rips I am building this PC for cry engine 3 so I can start developing Halo levels. Besides I want to play contingency.

I will be shifting on other engine soon.

Don't worry I will still play Halo ce and visit the forums but I won't be producing anything on this engine.

I hope you guy's are not mad at me.

Quick question. Why did you fork out the money for a rog motherboard while limiting yourself to a terrible cpu and medium range graphics card. Seriously, the rog motherboards are good but insanely pricey and uneccessary for builds like this. I really would of considered buying an i5 or a 7950 instead. Btw I actually have a working ASUS dcuii 7950 sitting in my draw. I would have sent it to you if I could find the box it came in. (it's only 7 months old too)

The 460 is for the bare minimum low-res gaming.

you can play Crysis 3 on very high just fine. not on 1080p, but a resolution like 1440x900 or something.
which is a really good resolution.

Good news I got the graphic card 7870. But in the future I am going to buy AMD r9 but will it work 7870? Because I want to keep them both.

its best if you crossfire two identical cards. otherwise you may bottleneck the faster card (slow it down)

the issue here is that the r9 series ditches the old crossfire plugs and does it via the motherboard. so you cannot crossfire them

The 7870 will work with the R9 but you need to keep them at the same core clock. Also i believe architecture wise the R9 is different. So this could be odd in some ways i dont know of.

Why a laptop... for gods sake, why a laptop. I mean it must be convenient but once new GPUs and etc come out you're screwed. You have to order another laptop and pay full price.

Oh, then get that damn laptop! YOU SHOW COLLEGE WHO'S BOSS!

hell yeah! I think that laptop will be the strongest computer on campus. it already will be stronger than the 2 gaming workstation computers I was using to play crisis 2 and halo with OS visual features. heh "state of the art private college" my hind. if it was for home, I would have gotten parts and a 780 gtx single gpu and built a desktop
