You mean a new map or just a net game flag design? I'f you are talking about flags I'd like for the track to reach around the upper outskirts of the map and then slice through the middle and into the outer side of the map around the outskirts of the opposing base. Something which resembles a figure of eight but with more twists and turns.

I really couldn't make my mind up about check point numbers but I will say this. Try and make them closer to being few and far between whilst still maintaining the shape of the track you use. I really hate maps where the next check point comes up after the next 3 seconds. I'd prefer to dodge and weave my enemies to claw to the next checkpoint. Oh and as for designs..... White denotes the shape and the red line indicates the start/finish. Just ideas.....don't hate.

I've got an idea for a track. Personally I would modify the bsp mildly around the "annoying part" to make the path choices a little more apparent (either make the straight-to route harder to take and the loop route easier or vice-versa by making cliffs steeper or less steep, or, heck, there's another possible longer route going around that might need another checkpoint if that was to be the main one), but it would work fine as is, just would be a bit challenging to drive. Which might be more fun haha. I tried to hit all the major fun points (the jumps and twisties and tunnels), with some straights to vary up the pacing, plus the triple loop design makes for 2 intersection points, which might be fun with dem crashes and stuff. Could do a short figure 8 in the middle: same thing but with 7, 8, 9, and 10 chopped off and 6 going straight to 11.
And the original I did was still pretty fun to drive as-is imo.

Any race, on any map should not be a tour of the map - which the current race course is. It should also contain several path cross overs to make team games that are not horribly boring. Consider siege has a 125 second lap time, your current one has 145 - 170 second lap time, on team race, the only time you see the enemy is at the start of the game. Consider a double figure 8 with a lap time of 90 seconds or less. You have some nice vehicles gauss and missile hogs - design the course so you can use them - often.
Since vehicle spawns in race are netgame flags, this means you won't always spawn near a hog/vehicle. So, red and blue player and vehicle spawns should be near each other - I suggest one on either side of a small hill/burm and since your small trees have collision, don't spawn players in the trees.
If you make it engaging - your map will be played on race servers in addition to ctf. I had your map on rotation for a full week on race, the most common comments were "zzzzzz" and "boring" and "skip."
I'm not slamming you, just useful feedback from a 11 yr veteran racer. I enjoy the map, but race . . . . zzzzzzzzzzz
