Oh it wasn't porn. Anyway did you use some old ripping tools? I remember seeing models like this years ago. (or it's just 1 smoothing group for everything that makes it look like that)

Not that I don't think you're not gonna finish, but I did the same thing years ago, taking pictures of things that I just started, and I ended up never finishing them.

Maybe that was just me and my knack for not finishing things, but understand that developing anything GOOD for any game, is a long, INTRICATE process that's easy to give up on.

Nowadays, I keep everything mostly under wraps. I'm not all top-secret about it; I'll let people know that I'm working on something, and tell them generally what it is, but I'm not announcing anything either.

If you want to, you can make a couple sneak peek pics in the general WIP thread. I've yet to do so for any project I've done, but I might some time in the future.

But don't post any announcements or big media until your game is playable, and you're halfway through polishing.

Doing that keeps me working, because I'm eager to show people my work. But in order to do that, I have to finish it first.

However, I trust that you'll do good, knowing this. Keep up the good work.

REMEMBER: At the end of the day, people will only enjoy what you finish.

Um I'm pretty sure you use 3DS Max? Unity has NOTHING to do with shaders and textures.

Does Unity have it's own shader system?

The shaders in the tags make it all pretty and stuff.

That could take a little while...even for someone who has experience with 3ds Max.
You already have the textures you need, just no shaders.

I know let's go steal content from another game and port to another game and call it our project. even though its a stolen project.
you have no right to use halo assets in unity or any other map editing program.
you didn't make anything original and I played that level in halo 10 years ago.
just sayin...
the textures are 10 years old. the mc is from halo and the AR display does not work.
don't do this to your self this is not the type of thing you go public with on halo maps
your way off and this topic is about to get locked and or piss d off
Have some respect! if you have not known buy now you should get to learning!

Wow Microsoft is gonna come sue you just like they come sue everyone who puts Forza ripped cars in other engines. Oh wait, nobody's been sued for that. Oops. And if Microsoft doesn't care about people ripping from practically new games why would they care about their 10 year old game?

Either way, I don't see what all the negativity here toward people who convert models is about. Modding should be about having fun and making fun things, not just stroking the egos of those who are good modelers and texture artists with lots of time on their hands.

This guy hears me. As for jackrabbit, I said this was VERY early. Maybe its a bit HARD trying to practically remake Halo's script into a different engine and then at the end of the day, I give away my work for free! Aren't I generous!

Like others have said, wait until you have something awesome to show. Nothing like showing off something that looks like crap and getting criticized out the ying-yang, just for you to lose interest in it. Not showing it to anyone gives you the drive and dedication to keep working on it, knowing eventually you will be able to show it to your peers.
