I want a to add a different sky to the stock scenario Deathisland. Everything works if i keep everything exactly how it was extracted, but as soon as i remove the scenery i get an error. i have a freshly installed tag set, so i really don't know what the problem is.

Debug:
07.23.13 15:47:14 tool pc 01.00.00.0609 ----------------------------------------------
07.23.13 15:47:14 reference function: _write_to_error_file
07.23.13 15:47:14 reference address: 42ca20
07.23.13 15:47:14 Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'
07.23.13 15:47:14 i'm going to render debug lightmaps for deathisland of levels\test\deathisland\deathisland, and i'll stop when red+blue+green = 0.100000.
Hit control-c now if this isn't right.
07.23.13 15:47:14 tag data 'hs_syntax_data_definition' too large.
07.23.13 15:47:14 failed to load scenario tag 'levels\test\deathisland\deathisland'
07.23.13 15:47:14 need to get the following tags:
07.23.13 15:47:14
07.23.13 15:47:14 done

Also im using OS hek (os_sapien guerilla) but im using the TOOL command not the os_tool command. so it should be the same right? os_sapien might be the problem.
Os_sapien was the problem.

i guess os_sapien doesnt work like normal sapein, my bad for posting before troubleshooting.

Are there scripts you are compiling? Go into sapien and try typing into dev: recompile_script or scripts_recompile whatever it is. Note that pressing tab with dev open in sapien tells you about your options of commands.

Edit: it may also be that you have too many custom hs commands defined. Try runnin normal tool instead if you are compiling via os tool to see.
