A few of you may remember this old firefight, but it's about time I released it. I know it's been ~3 years and all. It's perhaps one of my more favorite firefights i've worked on, which the list can be quite long (private, unreleased ones that is).

I just thought there should be an announcement. The map was uploaded to halomaps earlier today, and therefore it should be up on the site last night. It includes no Open-Sauce features or anything like that, it's just a fun map. I can run it on my laptop with decent fps (it has integrated graphics, et cetera) nevertheless, it uses a LOT of scripts as well as a large number of ai. If I went back and re-did it, I'd make some performance improvements, as well as edit some of the game play, and add some features that Gamma and I worked on briefly. Needless to say, I think most players will find it enjoyable for a good 20-30 minutes.

There are some lulzy mistakes such as obvious ai spawns, et cetera, but for the most part it is a unique take at the fire-fight genre. (i've never played Left for Dead, however some of my beta testers did compare the spawning to that of the in-game spawning system.

Once Dennis adds the map, I'll update this post.

Credits go specifically to Gamma for ideas, and various helps, as well as to DSalimander for using the BSP. (The map was last compiled in 2009. Yep, I'm getting to be an old-timer.)

you could upload it to mediafire if you wanted to so that we wouldn't have to wait.

I played the map for about 30 minutes but after awhile I felt it got a little too repetitive.

There's really not any pictures. If you like Ivory Tower, it's essentially that + flood.

I'm glad to be back. It's kind of fun to see some of the same familiar names, and yet some new ones.

If you or someone has a project they need help on or coding or whatever I'm down for being moderately involved for the time being. I'm back on xfire etc.
