hey sorry if this is in the wrong forum but im trying to compile a map with a weapon tag in it. anyway ur suposed to use the CMD PROMPT to compile it and no matter what i type in the cmd it says that its not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. the only commands that work are help, path, etc. everything else says that! is there another way to compile a map without the cmd prompt??? BTW im on WINDOWS 8.

do you have the halo editing kit?you need this to compile a map,cmd will not work without this to compile maps.

Make sure that you are in correct directory (E.G. $ cd "%PROGRAMFILES%\microsoft games\halo custom edition")
