Hi guys! Long time lurker here and a huge fan of some of the custom maps you guys produce. Still play scrims on custom maps these days <3. I wanted to share something I did back. I suppose it would have been more appropriate had it been a vid on some custom maps considering the community, but I hope it doesn't hold you back from enjoying xD!

It is my first, and likely last edit. Thanks to everyone who I've played. I hope you enjoy. I had something like 50 clips, but due to music constraints, and wanting more unique shots/clips I chose the ones you will see in the film.

If you're wondering why it's a 1v1 montage, the answer is simple. I'm mostly a 1v1 player, and nobody produces these in the community anymore, so I wanted to put out a vid that was fresh in terms of what you are all used to see. I kept it as diverse as possible, restricting as much as I can the number of prisoner clips I included.

Its interesting, you must have a pretty incredible internet connection for such perfect, lagless shooting. That said you also seem to know spawns, weapon placement, and the like extremely well. Definitely impressed with the gameplay.

As far as the video itself goes, The first song is really meh, some kind of lame, unoriginal hip hop, and the effects where the video blacks out to the beat are painful to watch.

The second song is much better, less irritating hip hop bitch's in da club kind of crap, but the effects are a little much here and there.

Overall not bad! The gameplay is excellent, if a little repetitive after a bit xD Just need to get rid of the black out to the beat effects and it would be perfect! :)

For all you know they might have been doing it via lan and know each other.

I find most montages to be quite boring. This one is mildly interesting to me.

Great for what it is, though.

What I would love to see is a "Rifles only" match. Assault Rifles and Plasma Rifles.
I have yet to see anyone do that sort of montage.

Rifles only?
I've done stuff like that back in the day. No recordings and no YouTube at the time though.
I couldn't possibly do that now though unless I had like a week of practice :)

Damn, I feel sorry for these guys. they practically have no chance against you and can't even spawn without immediately dying soon after. Damn.

I have to say i'm not proud of my 2004-06 days in halo PC :/
Made many a person ragequit immediate spawnkilling, but at the time I thought nothing of it.

I also never played objectives lol

Spawn killing is almost worse than camping.

wait, are they the same thing?

The conversations about the old days being better actually made sense, say... half a year ago.

However, now we have new and awesome blocks against aimbots and the likes as well as no lead mods and of course OS.

So actually, if we even had any players on the decent servers, today should be far greater than the 'old days'.

Once upon a time, I got a 180 no-scope in Halo. Never did it again.

I was so lucky.
