i editied the model collision on a biped i made and gave the shield material type force field since its the only material all weapons do 0 damage against.
i made a custom weapon to deal damage to the force field material only. as the shield gets weaker the impact effect changes from green full shield-yellow mid-orange low-red critical.
but it still flashes the gold shield model around the biped also, how do i remove this!

I think but am unsure. Open the .biped Open the modifier shader remove the primary and secondary maps or remove the modifier shader altogether.

you were right thanks, it was in biped tags, i just deleted the line next to modifier shader.
