hey i was just wanting to know two things
1. i saw in the artsy fartsy post something about two sky's and i am currently making a map where i would like the first 700 meters to be normal sky and everything after that to be the space sky so the air battles are like your fighting over the planet

2. i want to know can i make a vehicle ceeling that is a plane in 3dsmax so i can have it so that you can't fly up but i'm wanting to have a hole in it where theirs a space tether that you can fly up to join in the space battle and also the ship should be able to bombard the ground battle field (so alot of it will be indoors lol)

also if anyone is interested in helping with the map PM me

I think you could change the sky with script and trigger volume. I'm not sure what you don't understand in 2 because you can just increase the height with the bsp mode itseld. Just move the top of the sky higher orso.

for the second one, either model it into the bsp yourself and make it collision only or slap a invisible scenery object with a hole in its collision where you want it.

Thanks i'll probably do that if i can't do the vehicle ceiling its just i wanted Spartans to be able to move through it but not vehicles but that not that important

but with number 1 this is what the person said

Did you know that if you separate your map by portals, you can give each cluster their own sky?

the sky used in cluster0 would be named +sky0, and the sky in cluster1 would be +sky1, and so forth

and i do not understand how to do that
