So I use ENB Series mod to make some videos with the bloom effect (since Open Sauce's bloom gives me low FPS sometimes), the problem is that I'm in a different computer and when I try to open Halo CE with the mod it gives me the unfamous "A problem occured initializing Direct3D" error. I checked it running DXDIAG but everything is on. I tried to install Directx9 and the only thing that can "fix" that is removing the d3d9.dll from my Halo CE folder.

I've seen this error reported many times but the solutions are almost never useful. Can anyone help me? :(

This happens with old and some new graphic cards too.

EDIT: Double error... God this PC... Now that I removed ENB Series to open Halo CE I can't use HAC 2. First it gave me the error: 126, so I downloaded the missing DLL files, now I'm receiving the error: 127 -.-

Finally, I'm not perfect in English :( and the Google Translator can be very bad sometimes, even with perfect grammar and orthography.

Which version of it are you using?

You'll need the GTA:SA version

The results are great if you know how to tweak it

(once again... not home to record how much I've improved the config)

The same version that works perfectly in the other PC, Resident Evil 4 ENB Series... I use this version because it has more "shader effects" that can be modified in-game with only two keys. For example, you can significantly reduce the shadows by presing 6 (NO numpad) + AvPág.

My old configuration:

This may be a bit colorful for your tastes

And this can be dark:

I know some of you won't like this because you may think the bloom is too high or it's a bit dark but 98% of friends like it.

But let's focus on the issue. I tried also to update my graphic card drivers, and nothing yet :(

Also, can someone tell me what I need to do to fix the HAC error: 127??

What are the missing DLLs called?

If it is something specific, I might know what is wrong

IDK it just say "Unable to load HAC! Error code: 127" I already fixed the "error 126" downloading msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll but I have no idea what the problem is with "error 127".

Ooooo!

I think you need the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package"

The x64 version is in the "Were you looking for" box

Oooooh! It worked! HAC is working now :) Thanks!

Now ENB... I have to leave this PC now and I won't have access to it until tomorrow night, it's not only for me but my friends and the other 20 people who present the same problem...

Have you tried using these settings?

http://enbdev.com/mod_gtasa_v0074f.htm

This is essentially the ENB settings me and most of my friends use. If you're not satisfied with those default settings, I can send you some modified ones (assuming it works for ya).

That's just a bunch of bloom.
ENB for San Andreas and GTA IV has epic reflections, ambient occlusion, etc.

MOAR BLOOM. No, seriously, Halo CE's bloom is atrocious. I feel like I'm adjusting my eyes to sunlight after being inside a room with no windows for 90 years. And don't get me started on that motion blur.

However, I kinda wanna see HDR effects in Halo CE. Maybe that'd make it look better.

The mod I posted was for autoexposure compensation...

THIS is bloom:

And no it DOESN'T look "amazing", it suffers tremendously from color fringing, lack of sharpness(it's like playing while looking through crappy plastic binoculars), and blown highlights

IT'S NOT REAL LIFE IF THE BLOOM DOESN'T SURPASS THE SCREEN!

Don't worry, I know what you mean, I just use a high bloom setting because that seems to like to most people, I just give them what they want :P

@Storm: I'll try that tomorrow maybe.
