That windows score is really starting to irritate me now. My specs are slightly better than yours and I still get the same score because of the HDD, which always seems to be 5.9, and will not let you go any further because it is the lowest sub score...

I just need to set up sound on my Xbox, the HDMI cable does no good on my monitor since it doesn't have built in speakers, or an audio out option.

I'll take a pic tomorrow with ALL of my electronic devices too :D

5.9 for the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is like that because of the physical disk in the drive. When using a Solid State Drive (SSD), the score goes up higher because there are no moving parts slowing down the speed.

Yeah I know, I just think it makes the rest of the system look bad on the final score. pretty much everyone still uses HDDs, so those people couldn't possibly get better than a 5.9 no matter what their specs are.

That's a lot of phones.

He most likely has a SSD.

Well... Looks like i got the worst of both worlds.
My problem is that my gadgets WERE bought by my parents. XD

My Mobile Intel (R) 4 Series Express Family Chipset on my only laptop scores a whopping 3.5 and 3.3 on the Graphics and Gaming Graphics sections of the Window Ex Index, and makes my PC gaming life a living hell.
When making HCE bsps, yes even ones with <500 faces, after I apply textures I have to hide that section of the whole model otherwise 3ds max 8 becomes unusably laggy. And this is on a windows 7 laptop that was worth $800 AUS 2-3 years ago.



But that won't stop me. >=)
