Hey folks
I'm working on a map and I'm starting to find Halo's default tag set (at least shader-wise) kind of limited. I'm looking for ways to add to my texture palette, but as far as I know, there aren't any custom texture packs (correct me if I'm wrong!) and I'm focused on 3ds max and would rather not take it upon myself to create my own...
Specifically I'm looking for stuff that fits with the vanilla Halo look (specifically forerunner-style), as I'm trying to keep my work more-or-less consistent with Bungie's art style.
So what's the best way to go about this? Ripping other people's work from unprotected maps (with permission, of course)? Finding someone to make textures? Ripping textures from other Halo games?
Or are there already resources out there that I've simply overlooked?

EDIT: Does anyone know anything about the Forerunner Texture Pack available in the Misc. tags section? I can't try it out for myself at the moment, and the lack of a description leaves me wondering if these are ripped textures or custom? Edited by stunt_man on Mar 13, 2013 at 11:26 AM

That texture pack was created by myself ane gaiger, none of the patterns I made were ripped
