Do or do not, there is no try

I am trying to make engine sounds for a vehicle that I am working on. I have 4 permutations (hi, idle, low, med), but when I compile it just says:

importing vehicles/kart/sounds

and that is it, it doesn't do anything.

The command I am using it:

tool sounds vehicles\kart\sounds wav 1

Does anyone know what my problem is?

thanks

And all the sounds are in sounds folder? Are you sure you didn't do any mistakes in the name like sounds instead of sound? Try command tool sounds vehicles\kart wav 1 (or try ogg).

I tried compiling the way you said, just vehicles/kart wav 1 and it said it couldn't read all the various files (models, bitmaps, etc...) and for the sounds folder it says:

Importing vehicles\kart\sounds
### failed to import: sample rate must be 22050Hz or 44100Hz

how do I fix this?

EDIT, nvm I got it.

It works now, thanks for the help!
