We already use several databases that disallow proxies, tor network nodes , zombies and our own banned IP database. However the sheer number of proxies makes it impossible to block them all. That database is practically worthless for forums because banning a username does not curtail peoples conduct and the IP list is most likely already in the proxy list which is insufficient at best.

I use a proxy detection script in my website, it works well ! (detection, not a list).
The script intervene in the account creation and forum (when sending).

Good luck !
