I'm really desperate. Since I changed my internet provider I have been warping in Halo Custom Edition (yup, warping, not lagging) I tried alot of things like reinstall Halo CE, install Leatrix Latency Fix and even call for support, but they are not helping me! They say that they don't give online games support When playing Project 64k online it says something like: Desynchronized player "blablabla" or Player asdaasd is lagging (I don't really remember) followed by "because she/he is dropping packets". In Unreal Tournament it lags and then I get disconnected from the server. My download speed is normal (the same of my anterior Internet provider), I can reproduce YouTube videos with no problem... I tried to play in other computer connected via cable (mine is connected by Wi-fi) and I get the same results, WARP. Please, I need a good solution!

upload is usually worse then your download, try testing here: http://www.speedtest.netEdited by SilentJacket on Jan 23, 2013 at 09:07 PM

lemme guess, Instead of a wired modem, you have one of those crappy WiMax antenna boxes? Used to have Clear WiMax, it was fast for doing internet stuff, but really laggy for gaming. Wimax has horrible latency, which is why HSPA+42 and LTE replaced it Edited by OrangeJuice on Jan 24, 2013 at 12:03 AM

I had something kinda like what you are saying but mine is lag and ping. not warping
90% of the time I am fine but the other 10% ends up with Mass lag + exception OR a ping that jums from 50 to 9934. I have fixed this problem but all I can say is test your UPload speed and get a different antenna box. Edited by Tape City on Jan 24, 2013 at 08:05 AM Edited by Tape City on Jan 24, 2013 at 08:05 AM

Nope, but I agree with the idea that the problem is the modem. Quote: --- Original message by: Tape City get a different antenna box.
