Dominated - Kill a Hunter with melee attacks and without getting any damage from it.

(THAT WOULD BE A PRETTY HARD ACHIEVEMENT TO GET! LOL)

Actually, not really. I do it all the time if I don't have a pistol on hand.

but, have you played against the new OS Hunters AI??

This is good stuff guys, anything for skull ideas? Remember it has to be all scripted, so double check to make sure any ideas you have are feasible with script commands.

Since this uses OS, you could do post processing stuff like cartoon effects. Imo that would be pretty cool.

Blind Skull: removes HUD (easy)

Iron Skull: just add a bit of script to every game_save command. the script checks to see if the skull's active, and if it is, then it doesn't give a checkpoint. if not then it proceeds like normal. therefore: Checkpoints= disabled!

Bandanna Skull: set cheat_infinite_ammo 1

Shadow Skull: VISR is disabled. maybe the flashlight too.

Lottery Skull: In levels with loadouts, the Player cannot make a choice for themselves. One is randomly selected, forcing the player to adapt.

Nightmare Skull: All levels will now have a "Satan Keyes" easter egg on it. you will still have to find and kill the top hat elite and get attacked from behind and all that, but they will not be there unless Nightmare is found and activated.

I got an idea but I dont know if it will work. I was able to do this on a dethisland mod.

Banshee Blast: Kill a banshee pilot without killing the vehicle using ONLY plasma grenades.

Punching Grunt: Increases player and enemy melee damage to the point of intsakill. In short avoid close combat.

Special Delivery: Grenades take longer to explode but blow up with double the damage and double the splash damage.

Classic: You can't pickup ammo but can pick up new guns. When shields deplete they are gone forever.

Gunsmith: Modifies individual gun damage to that of a "ultra real" version. Plasma weapons tear through anything, UNSC is a armor breaker/health killer.

The Matrix: Time slowed down

Magnet skull: Can't enter any vehicles and/or can't pickup new weapons, but have infinite ammo.

This actually looks like a lot of fun.
Make it so your weapons cycle at random intervals, forcing you to adapt. Of course heavy weapons will have a faster interval for changing so they don't get abused. Not sure if this is possible with OS, but I like it.

Sounds possible even without OS. (I know nothing about OS scripting, only stock).

The Flying One:Survive a fall that would've killed you.

The Creative One:Survive a fatal fall, with cheats or just plain skill/luck.

The only problem I see with the slow-mo skull is... how would you turn it off?
I've never messed around with skulls so I don't know.

This is really neat. Looking forward to it all!

You could probably change it using scripts after you're done.

or type game_speed 1 into console that would bring your game back to normal speed (of course this wouldn't actually turn off the skull).

Skulls:

Pilot Light - All covenant vehicles are replaced with banshees.
Location: Balcony of the first exterior B40 BSP. Requires a banshee to be stolen to achieve it.

Pork Chopped - All covenant Elites wield energy swords.
Location: One of the upper cliffs on d20, requires a nicely placed nade to achieve it.

You Must Be This Tall - Laying a single bullet into a grunt will cause you to lose the mission. AI are allowed (for obvious reasons)
Location: Top of the pipe near the first cave of a30

Slingshot - Covenant weapons have "The Force". Getting hit by a shot will send you on your way.
Location: The very top of the control room in Two Betrayals

Blue Balls - All ammunition is replaced with plasma grenades. Enemies can't be silenced unless stickied with a plasma. Even that doesn't silent them.. they will endlessly flail around once they have a plasma attached.
Location: Behind the door in B30 before it closes

Combat DEvolved challenge - complete a mission without using any vehicles, firing any rounds, and having killed at least 25 enemies via melee

Lone Wolf Skull - remove all friendly ai from the mission
Located in the back corner of The first room in assault on the control room, behind where the player spawns. This would be easy to find as it is sort of a "challenge" skull for experienced players rather than an easter egg type skull

One in The Chamber Skull - gives the player a golden magnum with immense stopping power (it'd be preferable that any enemy headshotted with this weapon would detonate like a grenade aswell) but one round per clip, and 2 spare rounds. If possible, all other weapon pickups are disabled and pistol ammo powerups replenish one round.
It'd be found in the back of the control room on Two Betrayals

Nothing Beats a Barbecue Skull - found in the second swamp of 343 guilty spark, gifts the player with a flamethrower with a bottomless clip and makes all enemies explode in a napalmey inferno of goodness, and maybe replace all the health packs with barbequed chicken legs or ribs for kicks....now I'm hungry

^just a few ideas

Shellshocked: Stay away from the Marines/Covenant fights at all three rally points on A30 until either Covenant reinforcement arrive or the Marines are all dead.

It's honestly shocking to see how many ideas we have, already...

Ya' know. Just looking at this, i want to put achievements and skulls in a map i made. I just need to make the map first :P Lol.

Ideas

Skyjack: Hijack a banshee mid air, by any means necessary.

Sleeper-cell: Bump possess an enemy and sneak your way through a level.

Assassin: Use cheat_active_camouflage and make your way through a level killing enemies without being spotted.

Flip-side: Bump possess an elite and make your way through the level killing all covies :3

Like a boss: Play through The Pillar Of Autumn on legendary without dying once.

Tradition: Play through The Pillar Of Autumn and only use the pistol keys gives you.

true halo: get a third weapon slot on The Pillar of Autumn.
Level 6 armor is for the insecure: kill all sentinels on The Library.
did it anyways: kill all convenant near the crashed escape pod while cortana says not to.
holier than thou: kill an ally for his ammo.

NINJA skull

When you pick it up you you get active camo, energy sword (or katana) and your speed will double.

This would actually be a good one without the cheats, with a small modification.

Stealth: Kill 15 enemies while cloaked on Truth and Reconciliation.

Assassin: Kill 20 enemies without being spotted on Truth and Reconciliation

Ninja: make your way to Captain Keyes' cell from the first cell block without being detected on Truth and Reconciliation.

3 challenges, each harder than the other.

In A10 (PoA), put a skull just outside that airlock door you can crouch-jump to.

In A30 (Halo), put a skull on a platform on the structure where you meet Johnson and his marines, but make the skull disappear if a single Marine dies.

Also, make one skull ridiculously complicated to get, as a homage to the great and mysterious IWHBYD. I'm referring to the H2 version, of course. H3 one sucks IMO.

Idea:

Demon Skull: All enemy encounters are replaced with a pair of Keyes Ghosts. (must first find the Nightmare skull i mentioned above).

We're not putting skulls in areas of the level (well for the most part). These would simply be skull like abilities activated via UI in the beginning.

That's gonna be very frustrating.

There are several dozen enemies and only one of you.
