So I've been working on a project and have an idea for a biped that has the fp arms as part of the 3p model, but it would require a biped that has 53 bones. Now i know it's not practical, but i don't know if it's even possible. Lol. So if anyone knows the bone limit or can help in any way, i'd really appreciate it :) thanks for anything you guys can share.

My computer isn't compatible with OS. And what do you mean, stretching issues? Lol.

Mine's 51, and when it's done it'll be 39. Too much?

The actual node block in the model tag has a limit of 64, but internally the stock game only reads 44 of those node matrices, so the vertices weighted to the remaining 20 nodes stretch. Open Sauce fixes this, so I'd advise giving the next version a try when it's released.

OS's graphical modifications can easily be disabled, open up "C:\Users\UserName\Documents\My Games\Halo CE\OpenSauce\OS_Settings.User.xml" change "<ShaderExtension enabled="true">" and all the Model fields below it to false. You may also want to set the PostProcessing fields to false too if your gpu is that bad.

It's not that, it's the d3d9.whateveritis. If i removed it, My computer opens halo fine. TheFireyScythe Tried to help me by disabling each affect it had one by one and it still caused halo to exception on start :/

All I can recommend is you try the next version of OS, which will be released soon. It's possible that whatever problem you're having has been fixed, it's worth another shot.

As i said, i'll give the next version of OS a try to see if it works. If it does then awesome, i'll have more freedom to make the modifications. If it doesn't then, sad day :c

The problem with my PC is that it's a laptop that system requirements lab says i'm not even supposed to be able to run stock CE. Much less the high graphics upgrades that come with OS.
