I request anyone capable to please fix http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=1719 The issues are with electrical sparks showing incorrectly (corrupted shaders), and also 343 Guilty Spark doesn't have his blue glow which flickers as he speaks. Apparently this has been an issue for over 6 years, I hope someone will fix it :) Edited by Shock120 on Dec 27, 2012 at 08:27 AM

lol Looks like the chief is giving spark the middle finger. This is an occasional problem for me. One or two times in the past, I have compiled the map and the sparks have been fine, but this mostly occurs. Strangely I always have this issue with d40 though.

Gut feeling says that this is either a shader or hardware issue... What kind of graphic card (and while at it, the rest of your computer's specs) do you have?

Spark already established that it was a corrupted shader issue. http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=topic&topicID=42181Quote: --- Original message by: Shock120 Intel Core i7 930 Nvidia GTX 680 (2GB) 16 GB RAM Windows 7 x64 Quote: --- Original message by: Spark some shaders or something in the map may be corrupted. Intel Core i7 930 Nvidia GTX 680 (2GB) 16 GB RAM Windows 7 x64 Oh okay, I didn't know you double-posted the problem.. My bad. Then I'm sorry, but I've no idea; your card should be able to handle this game, and I'm not having the same problem... (?) Jaz! Tag! You're it. You're better at hardware problems than I am... xP (in all seriousness, hang in there a little longer. Someone who knows what they're doing should come down to help soon.)

I just wonder could this be another Nvidia gpu issue, like the active camo? or just corrupted shaders in general?

I'm getting the same issue, but I thought it was just developer laziness, so I ignored it
btw, the library UI has the same problem

Renegade, in the middle of trying to work out why my dad hasn't looked at his laptop's obvious overheating problem yet atm, but fine.
Which drivers are you using, Spark?
If Renegade's used the same map and not had the issue, it's likely a driver issue. Oh and can you play other maps and other games without issues? If you can, yeah, likely a driver issue.
I also assume you've checked graphics settings?

Wonder if someone could upload a fixed version of the map or a patch file for this one. I would appreciate it, as I don't know how to do it, and forgot to state this in my request.
