Well...since you guys (excluding M. Dratt) want it to be 3 hours long, you might want to add random stuff.
Like poorly executed machinima.

It won't be 3 hours long. I edit the show therefor I make the final decisions on what happens in the livestream

If I wanted to, theoretically, submit two projects to CE3, would it be possible to send in a video for each and have a short interview for each?

Indeed. We typically like to keep it to about 5 minutes per person in the livestream for section so keep that in mind. Of course we'll edit the interview. This doesn't mean if you submit two 2 minute videos that you'll only get a 1 minute interview in the livestream. Sometimes we will go over the limit to 6-7 minutes. 5 is just the average. But say if you're submitting a UI (Demo section) and a SP Map (SP Section), then each project can get a full 5 minute part, more or less.

June 30th is the last date.

If you want do something special with the stage (like have a character onscreen or something) then give me your project and idea by June 23rd.

If you want a specific character to represent you in CE3 for your interview, after the interview give me your biped. Otherwise you can choose from a selection of Halo 3, H2, H1 bipeds.

I also want to clarify this one more time or try to every month so people can remember.

We do take unfinished projects and everything CE Related. Also mentioned in our latest podcast we will be accepting anything and everything that hasn't been on CE3 yet.

This feature will be called "Show Case" In Show Case you can submit any map that has not been in CE3. So lets say you made a map in 2008 and want to add it to our show case event, you can do that. Show Case is different from the man show, we will not interview you for this part. Show Case is more to just show off a map for 5-25 seconds, and then flip to the other one.

You may still submit and do interviews for anything that is in the works or has been finished after CE3 2012 air date.

I voted for all times. Equality of times ftw!

Nah, I just don't care what time. I can probably see it whenever. I usually miss it regardless just because I forget about it.

I actually want to make a public suggestion here...

Since this is an online event, why not have two airing times?
If the Olympics air both live and in Prime Time (18:00~21:00) in the United States, then why can't we air CE3 at two different times?
If we have, for example, one airing of CE3 at 13:00UTC (9PM Tokyo/9AM New York/6AM California) and another at midnight UTC (9AM Tokyo/8PM New York/5PM California), then I don't think we'd have to alienate as many viewers.

...well yeah, there's bandwidth cap problems, but I doubt we'd have enough viewers to be hit by that issue.

What do you think?

we thought about that last year but then we thought that'd split the viewer base.

It's honestly up to R93

I'm not sure about that, since everyone's still going to be watching the same thing.
However, I guess other problems like spoilers and trouble with giving away the 1600 Microsoft points would come up, too.

Alright. ...would you like to give your two cents, then, Sniper/M16?

CE3 will only have one air time. Like last year we will have a vote for it. In my opinion I would like it to be on Saturday due to me working Sundays and Fridays. I would really hate to call in sick for this. But if I have to I will. After all I'm the Host.

So Vote for CE3's Air time when you want it to be. The majority wins, if you think its too late well stay up or call in sick just like i will most likely have to do since the lousy Europeans got their way last year.

I'm just curious... Is anyone in this community (or at least in this forum) living in the eastern time zones (Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, India, Australia, Singapore etc.)?

I know for sure that we have Australians in this community. I think we have some people from Singapore too but I'm not sure.

I'm sorry for the timezones that are stuck at bad times like 5 in the morning but at least in those countries if it airs on a Saturday for us it'll be on a Sunday for them instead of a Monday like last year

Just saying, having a secondary airing time or a pre-screening is rather pointless. CE3 airs online ONCE, and then gets posted onto youtube within 2-3 days. This also allows you to watch CE3 at your own leisure past it (just, minus the ability to win prizes or to have any real fun)

Reminder, I am editing CE3 in parts. (Each submission will be a vegas file and then combined at the end). This means the earlier you get your stuff in, the 'better looking' your segment of the show will be. This includes the interview. And if you want to do something special with our stage (r2d2 rolling across, custom biped for interview, special entrance) then contact me before the final week of editing. Once the week hits and submissions are closed it's pretty much of rush of "CRAP I HAVE 5 DAYS TO PRODUCE A 1 HOUR SHOW"

You can submit showcase maps on this thread or on our website (just to make sure).

http://www.haloce3.co.nr

Click submit, then submit.

Also I saw a page thats currently a WIP on that site (it's hidden) that pretty much summarizes everything about CE3 very simply for anyone who is confused. I expect that to be finished in a month or two.
