thanks renegade,
i must search vocabulary, my english is bas that's why i wanna be ready for the interview, if you have question can you send me it (for translate it in french it's easier for me if i can prepare my answer in french and translate it in english.)

No problem -I'll see what I can do. However, I'm not totally sure when the questions will be ready in English (let alone French).

I'll get back to you when they're all ready, though. In the meantime, is there anything you want us to ask you?

FYI what's-his-face from Halofollower just mentioned CE3 in one of his videos. Might have a much larger audience this time.

Thanks for lookin' out for us!

Oh wow.. yeah, hopefully, we'll get more viewers this year, then :D

Dratt! Dratt! Dratt! Maybe we should include a quick tutorial on how to get Halo Custom Edition in the beginning and/or end of the livestream, in case we have newbies that want to get this game?
And/or a download package so new users won't just stick with the default maps?

Make sure to cover everything, like downloading HEK, OS(?), the 1.09 update and obeying Dennis.

I'd imagine I'd cover it like this http://haloce3.com/about/

EDT is different than EST by 1 hour.

The countdown timer on the website should work correctly if your PC time is set up right.

If you were late to submit, you may be able to sneak in a couple more entries today, though... You can try or ask me, at least ;)

IMPORTANT UPDATE: we have extended the submission deadline to July 6!
Why? ... I have no clue, ask Dratt.

For time zones, again, look at Dratt's guide to figure out when CE3 will air where you live.

Isn't 19 currently holding the record as most projects submitted to CE3? (I was looking at the website, and there were 19 submissions for 2010 and 2012.)

All rendering (including the stage) is done in the Halo engine, but I think animation rigging etc. will be imported from 3DS Max.

Hmm, that means that thing I started at 1AM, I might be able to have it presentable by then lol. I'd say im a bit over half way through making it presentable.

I think you would get much better quality ... when you set materials right [by doing the machinima on 3DS Max].

Quality... as a standalone video, maybe. But the point that we want to make is that anything -even machinima- is possible with Custom Edition. We're using the game engine instead of regular rendering to reinforce that thought. (plus, it's more fun!)

RvB has a huge production team and months to produce the show. For the machinima part I have me and one week

Regardless, I agree with Dratt and renegade on the choice to film the production entirely in CE because as renegade said we really want to send a message that you can still do great things in a 12 year old game.
Though if you're worried about a lack of quality... I think we've got a few things up our sleeve this year.

So, at the end of the 6th, or beginning? Anyways, the thing I started the other day, its in presentable state, sent it to masterz, ask him whether we're gonna have it for H2SPP's CE3, im gonna be sleeping (up all night, almost 8AM now. Only had 4 hours of sleep day before, etc.)

If you're worried about a lack of quality... I think we've got a few things up our sleeve this year.

Besides, Red vs. Blue took like.. what? Seven or eight years? to fully embrace CGI and get its show's formula right, too. This is only our fourth year of CE3.

Besides, could you have imagined OpenSauce's existence five years ago?
If we can go that far, then there's no reason to think we can't compete with professional rendering softwares, right? ;)

I want to say the end, but I'd wait for Dratt to give a formal answer.
Either way, it doesn't hurt if you can get it in as early as possible, right?

If it's no longer the 6th where you are NO MOAR

Also to do the show fully CGI is crazy out of anyones mind. I'd have to stop submittions in May and air the show in October. Machinima allows me to head bob 99.9% of the machinima parts and I can do in a week

And where does that leave mocap rigging?

Outside our budget.

(though if we could all afford it, though, that'd be amazing.. but our crew's spread out all across the US and the world..)
