You can now post your Halo Custom Edition YouTube videos in our searchable, categorized index at http://videos.halomaps.org/. The site is designed specifically for showcasing Halo Custom Edition and making it easier to find videos about the game.

To add your video just enter the URL link or the share link into the form on the home page, preview, categorize your and submit the video. The information posted on YouTube will be pulled into our searchable database.

It specifically says and I quote " Enter the YouTube video URL or the link suppled when you click the Share button under the video."
It depends on what you are searching for. there is not a lot of content at the moment. It searches in place and you can also sort the search or full listing as well.

You cannot search under 4 characters. Example: "CE3" won't work (adding it's own section could help coughcough....)

Also for example http://videos.halomaps.org/index.cfm?v=98 the title clearly has the word "Photoshop", yet the search results for Photoshop is blank

That is correct. Words under 4 characters are mostly noise words that would not yield usable results.
The search index is updated nightly so new additions may not show up in searches.
Sorry no there isn't; partly due to Google's restrictions in their API and also because most of the time people will add them as needed.

So, we can't post Xfire videos?

Thanks it's the old forum with it's weird combination of tables and CSS. The image wasn't in the style sheet like all the other sites so it overlapped with the new menu style. All fixed.

I believe this is a flaw. Results like CE3, MP, SP, and others might be small and turn up a lot of results but are still things people would use in the search

put ce3 2013 on when the show is finished

Three letter searches on such a limited data set do not return usable results. However if you type "ce3" plus anything else and you will find what you are looking for. Example enter "CE3 2009" or "ce3 I don't care what" or "CE3 Please find me"

These websites only support games that are allowed by the copyright and license agreements to allow and encourage user created content. The Halo PC and the Halo Trial games do not. It is a violation of the copyright and license agreements to modify those games.

As for the portal maps site it is there because I want it to be there and no other reason is required,
