All gamespy controls is the server browser, just do direct IP.

Direct IP works and i joined a server but only the host was there (the host is a afk bot in this server) -_- ill keep looking for other players but i don't think ill find any.
I test 10 servers and it was only me and the auto host. I would like to point out the server i used are fully 24/7 Edited by ReAcH on Dec 9, 2012 at 10:57 PM |

yea but i think it still relies on gamespy. plus if you use os your out of luck.

I really lol'd when I heard Trial servers were down. All those thousands of players suddenly have nothing to do. Hehehe.

Quite right, and these players never actually paid so I'm fine. I would have prefer not to shut down anything... but a 10 years old demo is due

Trial inst down, just the server browser... Come on people. Stop calling it dead when clearly you can still play online.
CE won't die either just the browser will. |

Surely this will bring the player base together more? increasing the amount of people visiting the site in order to play the game?
I suggest Dennis post a Sticky detailing how to join servers, so people who search for it can find it. |

Check it out. It's got various IP addresses for Ratgames, the main page also shows how many players are on it (1 person is just the autoserver) Last night we had 9 people on at one time, but probably 15 in total (leaving/going). Just connect to one of these and when people see someone else is on they'll join. |
