sometimes i miss the chaos occasionally

so as i was trying to compile my opensauce shaders test map i got this error

scratch that its only a specific few maps. hmmm

Make sure that you're using build-cache-file-ex, not the stock build-cache-file.

i am using build cache file ex

heres the command im using, it works for every other map

os_tool.exe build-cache-file-ex "" 0 0 1 kzcm\opensauce_maps\ports

Can you post one of the shaders that all of the maps that don't work use?
Either a screenshot of the tag, or the tag itself will do.

i tracked it down to my DMR that i ported, it worked great until i started messing with bitmap compression types. then it gave me this error, i deleted and exported the bitmaps again in color key transparency but i still get the error so if you could find a fix that would be great.

Trying to replicate the error here, but some files are missing. Could you upload them?

Found the problem, it's a non-power-of-two bitmap. To fix it, open up kzcm\weapons\reach\assault-rifle\bitmaps\gun_microbump in photoshop, make it a power-of-two, then recompile.
