The Essential CollectionDATA & TAGS By Kills Alone & the H2MT Crew Released October 31st, 2012 YouTube SUMMARY:The core H2EK installation takes up just under a Gigabyte of space. When decompressed the collection I offer here will take up about 11GBs of space! It includes the original files from a core H2EK install, you just copy it right over the top of a fresh H2EK installation. It includes these original files as many have been modified and/or improved upon. All of the H2V source files I have created over the years and others I have improved on. This collection contains H2V custom mapping work by most of the H2MT and is the best place to start from. With a few tweaks you can make your own versions of many maps. This collection contains:-SP, CO-OP, MP and H2.5 MMM Scenarios -BSPs -AI -Scripts -Textures -Shaders -Weapons -Vehicles -Models -Effects -Sounds -Unlocked H2EK -Improved H2Tool -And much more FILES (7-Zip archive):EDIT: THE LINK IS NOT BEING HANDLED PROPERLY, SOMETHING TO DO WITH HALOMAPS, SO HERE IS ANOTHER THREAD FROM MODACITY WHERE THE LINK WILL WORK: http://www.modacity.net/forums/showthread.php?24870-DATA-TAGS-H2MT-The-Essential-Collection&p=636374#post636374 3.87GBs Compressed Due to an upload size limitation with Skybox it came out to 14 files; all at 300MBs a piece except for the last file. The current host requires a MS account; a Games for Windows Live/XBOX Live account should suffice.
Next I will try and find another host with less strict upload and download limitations. Sorry its too large for any other host, I just checked the Skydrive in Mozilla Firefox and IE10 on Win8, and then I tried logged out of Skydrive; still works fine on my side. I also reset the public permissions so it should work.
If/When I do the next update I'll try hosting the files through Mega. Edited by Kills_Alone on Mar 8, 2013 at 06:25 PM

Kills, if you want to host thru my website, I can set you up with FTP access so you don't have to worry about limits or any of the usual free site crap.

Yep, thats what DATA+TAGS means; its means all the source files, not just compiled content, everything.
Make sure to give proper credit to TwinReaper for his awesome BSP work.

Just checked the release date, this collection was released on October 31st before Crater was finished (December 19th, 2012). It will be included in a future release. Edited by Kills_Alone on Mar 11, 2013 at 10:15 AM

Is this 7-zip? because when I tried to extract it, It keeps saying "unspecified error" and when I tried to open with winrar, It gives me an error saying "This Archive is Corrupt". Fix the archive as soon as possible because I want to extract the files. Edited by Spartan Tom on Mar 30, 2013 at 09:49 AM

The archive is in 7-Zip format. I have tested it and had a few others gave opened it as well.
When I compressed it I used a 2 core setting, I'm not sure if this requires the end-user to have two or more cores when extracting.
Perhaps you need to update your version of 7-Zip?
Also, sometimes with archived/compressed files that are split such as this collection is, you need to right-click and select extract to through the 7-Zip menu and often you have to do this to the proper file, otherwise you get an error. In this case it would be the first file, the one ending in .7z.001.
Try to view the contents of the archive by right-clicking on the first file then select Open Archive. If it is still corrupt then it happened when you were downloading the files, I downloaded and tested them. You did download all the parts right (.001 through .014)?

Oh, that Could solve the problem for me. I only downloaded 1 file from the collection pack. Do I have to download all of them from the collection pack?

The collection is so large that I had to split it up into little pieces so that it would be easier to download. So yes, you need all 14 parts.

What do I have to do next? I tried extracting, but it only extracts .001 not .002 -.014.
Here is a Picture to show that I'm confused.

You have them all selected, that may be confusing extraction process. Only select the first file and try again.

That is an old unfinished public beta not related to the one from HCE. We will be updating this collection in the future with additional Reach/ODST maps and weapons.
