Quote: --- Original message by: waffles Your directory isnt right, or you would at least see the names of the animation(s) when compiling.
default data setup for animations should be something like this
ex; characters\cyborg\animations
tool command like so...
tool animations characters\cyborg
You do not need to type out the animation folder name, tool looks for it automatically when compiling, just like with compiling models. ok.....now what is wrong? it first tell me this. i export the animation to JMW and now this appear: this is mi first animation so..sorry if i bother..

The second message is asking if you want to compile without the other format you tried earlier, basically; you deleted the old one you compiled and tool noticed its not there anymore, just type "y" and it will compile normally. i jus type yes and happen the same thing of the first picture... *model animation compression saved 0 bytes*

It's supposed to say saved 0 bytes. Have you actually checked the size of the compiled file? :/

Edited by Georgespartan01 on Oct 13, 2012 at 11:57 PM

On which you raised of 3Ds max of “LARGE TRANSLATION NOT IN JMW” means that you used a “name” of animation that obligatorily it has to be in format JMW. The animations of objects and personages are very very difficult in the graphical motor of I pull ahead. Luck.
