Is there anyone out there that wants to remake some of the Halo Reach campaign and multiplayer maps?
As you know, there is already powerhouse that has been remade, so I thought the rest should be made to say goodbye to Bungie :(
Sucks that they're gone.

Multiplayer is feasible I guess but there's nobody I know of who's working on any. Campaign is just out of the question.

Campaign is no where near out of the question.
I have half of the first 3 missions modeled so far, but don't want to be doing it all on my own.
Otherwise it would take ages to complete.

I don't think you understand the reasons, but campaign is out of the question.
I've been working on Reach stuff for quite a while now.

If you want to join a team or something contact Haloextreme117

Someone modeled Boneyard and uploaded it, I think, but it hasn't been made playable yet.

I guess AI is a problem for sp.
Lucky I concentrated on the multiplayer zones of the campaign missions.

Honestly Reach's Multiplayer maps were probably the worst in the series, don't think they'd be worth the trouble of recreating.

I had planned to import it in but it had WAY too many errors for me to fix.

Is it a rip or a re-creation?

if you really want me too ill port boneyard for you. After quite a long time of modeling and unwrapping as well as fixing topology I believe i can do it.

Chedders if you can rip the multiplayer maps from Reach or Halo 3 I personally would love to have them and I'm sure the community wouldn't mind being able to look at them as well.

You kidding me?
In my view they were the BEST, esp. Boneyard, Forge World (which started as 5 desperate maps) and Spire.
Integrating them in the campaign was HUGE for bungie to do so, stuff 343 sometimes (also for making the elites return to the covie side in Halo 4).
Without bungie you wouldn't have any maps at all.

Not kidding at all;
Boneyard and Spire are both horribly unbalanced. Played in Invasion they are fine since the gametype is not ment to be balanced, but in gametypes such as Slayer it's difficult to enjoy starting at the bottom of a hill. Both suffer from what made Isolation(H3) such a horrible map.

In my view the best maps were Sidewinder and Damnation.

I have no idea what this is even trying to communicate.

Pretty confused about this as well, your saying without Bungie there'd be no multiplayer maps but isn't that a given since they were the developers of Reach?... This is a really bizarre trap isn't it?

With out the earth this conversation wouldn't be happening........

I'm saying that without Bungie, these maps wouldn't have been created. And I defend my original best maps as Boneyard/Spire because there IS A WAY that you can enjoy it.
It's just that you don't, so that doesn't mean that it is a bad map, does it?
Invasion and BTB are Spires main game types, slayer was a secondary, meaning that is was no recomended for that map.
Slayer maps in Reach according to bungie (see carnage carnival) are Powerhouse and Sword Base.

I have no idea why this sparked off the topic ( well, 'was topic') of recreating the maps.
