From the creators of HaloCharts, HaloSphere2 and HaloChallenges. Halo UNITY, a site designed to bridge the gap between all communities in Halo, allowing them to come together in a single place to encourage activity among their members. The idea is simple. Be an active, positive, member of a community site and you will be rewarded here. UNITY for COMMUNITIES
- Easily promote your events and activities to lots of people
- Distribute awards for your events and encourage players to participate
- Promote contests and give-aways with the built in Item system
UNITY for PLAYERS
- Meet lots of other players like yourself
- Socialize with other players through events and activities
- Build up your own player profile to express your Halo interests
- Join or create your own social groups
Have a look, check it out, discuss. www.HaloUnity.com

The main focus is the Xbox but I assume this will be one of those Halo hotspots too stay up to date with all other non-HaloCE/PC news.

Found this kind of funny. Hey there's like 100 halo community fansites, why don't we create a fansite to unite all other fansites ? There are now 101 halo community fansites. Great idea.

There are now 101 halo community fansites. Great idea. Yeah, pretty much what I thought. There's been at least as many attempts at this goal as there are currently Halo communities. Thus what's the point in another community to unite the communities which will just split the communities again between a small number of members who think this is a good idea and everyone else who wants this to be a failure/doesn't care. If Sean actually came up with new ideas that would result in this working, it might be a success. But this seems the same as every other attempt at the same goal. :( Uniting members generally isn't a very good idea unless you know how to make it a real success. It probably won't work due to the enourmous number of members to unite and an uneven ratio between those who can be bothered and those who can't. A better idea, which I have already done with CLS, would be to unite the leaders of communities and contact the members through the leaders. This can still be a failure though, so again, it's pretty much hit and miss trying to unite communities. Edited by Jaz on Jul 10, 2012 at 02:18 PM
