Hey guys,
A few days ago, a friend of mine apparently "recieved a virus" from a 24/7 extinction server. He told me he forgot the details (Yeah, I rolled my eyes at that) but he also told me one of his friends was playing with him on the server.
Apparently, this "virus" eats all the data in the hard drives.
Now onto the question, is it possible to recieve a virus from the server? Or is my friend trolling me? And if it is possible, how can it be transmitted?
Thanks for your assistance, and if it is possible to recieve a virus from a server, I recommend to stay out of them for the time being.
Thanks again.

Unless somebody has managed to somehow edit the coding for server transmitting, a virus can't possibly have been transmitted over a Halo server.

It is very unlikely that will ever happen. So you have nothing to worry.

More likely he got it from somewhere embarrassing/illegal and is covering it up.
