I'm trying to create a tank vehicle that has hover functionality. Its major functionality is ground based however its imperative that you can thrust the tank into the air. Can this be accomplished? If it can, how would I go about doing this? Should I use the human tank or human plane physics?

Also while toying with the human plane physics, I can't control my vehicle. I jump inside and i'm thrusted every direction and thrown to the other side of the map within seconds. I know its physcis related but I can't find where the problem lies.

Another issue I have is when I was playing with the human tank physics I had no control of the steering. No matter what fields I tweaked with and I tweaked them all I couldn't get my vehicle to steer. Is it animation related?

Any Ideas? Thanks Again

Or use Wraith physics for a heavier feel.

Physics can be tricky, and unless you're going to be editing physics a lot, it's going to be a lot easier to just copy physics from another vehicle.

Thanks for the suggestions, but after hours and hours of tinkering I found great results using the human plane physics.

I also resolved my all my physic glitches by beginning with just 1 sphere. I will slowly and cautiously continue to add more.

That's pretty cool man. Waiting for a release :)

By the way, did you use a mirror flag in the shader environment or something for the ground?

Animations for the lightsaber could use some work though.

Yes I know. The lightsabers are far from being perfect, I only put that in there for a quick tease. I do like the ready animation in place with the saber, how it kinda just flies into your hand is really cool to me.

As for how the floor goes, I believe it was done with a mirror flag, Yes. This shader was created by warpappassin a partner I had tag teaming this project with me years ago. To be honest, I haven't tweaked within that shader for a very long time.

What did you do to get that lightning effect on your projectile at the end? I could really use something like that but nothing ever looks quite right.

Its a custom projectile particle I created myself generated with bitmap sectioned sprites.
