Forge map conversion. My team is building halo reach forge for halo ce based on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zM091zZ8vAQ Any work done you will be credited accordingly in the map credits. Btw by doing this I will give you access to some maps my team are building, like a full halo reach for ce campaign, and lots of other cool stuff! Best wishes to anyone who tries to do this for me! I sat here refreshing for a while expecting a PM, never got one. Went to youtube to grab an example of what my forge is for this post, apparently he messaged me there instead of here *shrug* Anyways, he wants me to do it without OS.. can be done, but its more effort for him for far far less accuracy. There's not actually that much to change on the script end, I'll make the changes to the script and post it here at some point, it will be in the format of one of my script templates for my hsc workshop app I made. I might actually finish the current update I'm making for hsc workshop first before this though, just so I can make use of new features I'm adding, etc. At this point, might as well explain the change. Each monitor will have 2 AI attached to the front of them, these AI will look at each other. When a item is between the two AI, it can be attached. This is no where near as nice as using OS for objects_distance_to_object and you will suffer because of this *shrug* The objects_data_set_real <item> position will just be an attach and detach, this part doesn't matter which way its done, it works the same with moving an item around (this would be a different with a device_machine however, but since they are all vehicles, it doesn't)

Thanks. This is fine. I just need it to work without OS.
Soon as that's done I can continue work.
EDIT:
I have been working through some stuff that could help with this.
If anyone wants to texture http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=6266, maybe ally can have a go? Soon as thats done it can be tagged and we will have a halo ce sword base.
Im getting maps together.
My original idea was to make halo ce with reach multiplayer maps, and try to remake some of reach's campaign. I need the maps modeled though first before they can be textured.

So, follow that link I gave previously, current version comes with a sauceless version of the template (although I don't think I used any of my template changes in it, so you can just grab the template here to use with a previous version of my app, and prepare for suffering because your not using OS *shrug*.)

@haloextreme117 i'm not too sure what to say about that sword base model. this is a pic of that model you are talking about. and here is a video showing just how far from being finished this model of the sword base map is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENLyW3dgyhg this is no where near ready to call sword base or texture. No, because when we'd need to make the extra tags required for non-OS, and try to tweak them until it works right, and all the suffering and such. Anyways, if you want to open my OS example map, open the scenario in guerilla, go to the scripting stuff at the bottom, delete it all (It's OS stuff, it would like OS sapien, etc. And your overwriting the old scripts with the nonOS ones anyways)
