So I've exported my halo map structure (whatever it is) from gmax, using chimp 1.6. Now when I go into grablistener to save the jms, it crashes instantly. It worked the first time i got a map into halo, why not now?

it's been so long since i used gmax.
the only thing i can think of is did you check the box called enable listener
just before you exported the model in gmax?

Yeah i had that checked. It took ages to write the data though. Maybe it's because of the size of the map. And yes, i had write debug info checked too.

Edit:

I slept my computer overnight and it worked. But now i have open edges in the model. What do i do to fix that?

you can import the .wrl file into gmax?
then untick the 1st two boxes.
that will show you the areas that need fixing up, if you need a hand sorting anything out on it
give me a shout on xfire.
