Hey i need a hand reopening a few windows i accidently exited in sapien... I accidently closed the tag window and another window, but i can't open them now so im stuck with 3 actor variants :/

Edit: I know this is unrelated, but it just came up now and i didn't wanna make a whole new thread... But when i try and launch custom edition it get this error:

A problem occurred while initializing directdraw. hardware acceleration maybe disabled, please run dxdiag.

But i run dxdiag, and it says hardware acceleration is on....

i think, delete sapien.config

I used the fix, but i still dont have a tag window, create tool, or main window :/ Should i just delete sapien and redownload it?

The fix resets window locations back to the default. All the windows should be visible on startup of sapien and then they will move to their locations. Do you see all the windows open when you start up your scenario?

No, the only windows that appear are hierarchy, properties pallete, tool window, output, and game view

Click on View, uncheck and recheck those that are missing.

the ones that are missing don't appear in the view menu

Have you tried what maniac said? It should work since this also happened to me before and deleting that config worked.

Got it to work, but now im just trying to figure out why my ce wont launch

did you get the game to launch?
if not you need to explain some more details to get help with it.
does it just crash, have you checked the event viewer to see what the error report is
if any?

Yep i got it started again, weird, it wouldn't work, but now it does... but now -windowed is no longer on the target, I think it may of not run because it was window mode or something. because it automatically removed -windowed from the target line. but oh well, at least it runs now! I can't complain

that virus total link doesn't work, and the servers aren't down.
to be honest i would not have ran your app seeing the link to the virus scan doesn't work.
fair enough i can check it out in other ways but a dead link would make me ignore the app.

Open sapien
Click windows tab at the top
Uncheck the windows you exited
Do over, but recheck the windows this time
