Whenever I try to incorporate sound\dialog\a50\a50_160_cortana into my map using
(sound_impulse_start sound\dialog\a50\a50_160_cortana none 1.00)
cortana starts to speak, but stops mid-sentence: "Stop! Motion tracker shows moveme..."
Any help in figuring out what is wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe there's a sound_looping tag that joins together all the dialog of Cortana?

I thought so too, but when I looked at other scripts which play the same sound successfully in other maps, they only have the sound_impulse_start function.

I got rid of the other sounds, but it still stops. That was a good idea, though, I hadn't thought of that, thank you.
Edit:
Woooohooooooo! Yes! Fixed it! Oh my gosh!
To all of you who might have a similar problem, I switched out the a50_160_cortana sound file for one from another source (they were identical in size: 21.7k), and now it works!
