Hi,

I still can't host servers even after a year of trying to work it out.

I've opened all ports on all firewalls, up to and including my router, Microsoft Security, and Kaspersky Internet Security.

However, still, nobody can join my servers. They get a 'Network Connection Lost' message or similar.

Anyone know what the problem might be?

are you still using the default ports? I've noticed once that when I changed my ports so I could join my own dedi, that it messed with my connections to other servers (couldn't connect my laptop to/from my desktop until I changed it back)

I am still using the default ports, yes.

I've also asked someone to test Direct IP joining and that didn't work either.

Are you using a wireless connection?

No, this computer's on a wired connection, but my router's pretty new and does allow wireless and my Wii's connected.

Could the Wireless connection to the Wii be interfering somehow?

Probably not. Did your friend try switching his ports when he tried joining? That seems to be the only way for people to join my games.
