It seems to me that there are no tutorials or anything on collision models so I don't really know where to start?

You can simply make the model by making another folder where your models one is called "physics" and run the collision-geometry command through tool on it. The file inside it can be the same one you used in the models folder. Just make sure it is fully closed and has no errors. You can also downgrade the collision model so it dosent have as much detail but rather is rough geometry. Your collision is never seen, just "felt" by the player.

Videos like the above mislead and dont point out things that should be noted,If you said make a box for collision mesh, what we he do for characters that need accuracy, and vehicle that need accuracy?

For god sake... people need to learn to give information into WHY something is going wrong, for example error messages.

Use your brain and post a render of the model you are using for collision, and then show what you are typing into tool, and show an error if there is one...

I don't really need to give a rendered model of a box... I'm getting open edge errors

Well since the x-wing massively failed, because I made it a while ago and didn't know about overlapping edges ect.
So at the moment I'm just trying to get a simple box in game, so it's just got the frame node...

Yesh, a massive bump I know. But I still can't get it working.

All you need to do for the collision is make a seperate low-poly model that wraps over it, since the collision wont be seen and only act as it's solid physics.

Ok, thanx for simplifying it, I'll test in the morning, I'm on my iPad so I can't test it now... Time to watch some anime on YouTube.
