So I've been messing around with opensauce and it's pretty awesome. My map was going along nicely untill I added post processing. Now when compiling the map os_tool crashes I've followed the instructions in the wikia and even tryed uninstalling and reinstalling but that hasn't fixed anything. Any ideas?

what does tool say? what does debug.txt say? what options did you pick in build-cache-file-ex? etc

geurilla and sapien are both closed and there is no instance of halo ce running i really dont get whats going on

os_tool.exe build-cache-file-ex "" 0 0 1 kzcm\os_maps\ambry_kzcm_os

it always crashes an culling uncompressed model animations while compiling and it worked completely fine untill i added the .project_yellow tags into my scenario

as far as that message is concerned, ive gotten the same thing when redundantly switching to the old globals file, however it hasnt given me any map issues or crashes...

I'm thinking this would be the issue, Project_yellow tags can have replacement globals.globals referanced. I think he referanced normal globals.globals, so when its doing whatever it does to swap them, it has issues, because it itself is accessing globals.globals to move to the exact same location. Anyways, open your project_yellow, and make sure that if your using a globals override that your actually using a different globals file.

(and yes, im for some reason quoting your response to it rather than his originally message.. dont ask why, im tired)

"os_tool.exe build-cache-file-ex "" 0 0 1 kzcm\os_maps\ambry_kzcm_os"

however that ^ you never entered a mod name, dunno if that would cause any issue(kirby?). but try putting the map name in between the parenthesis.

I never use mod-set naming *shrug* that wouldn't be the issue, its defiantly about those globals.

I found it. I apparantly had placed a player. Biped in the yelo globals trying to get the team specific characters to work. Guess I'm going to some more research on that. That's why it crashe at culling uncompressed model animations

Odd that this didn't show up in debug
