My esc key no longer works and I can't access the menu anymore.Is there a way to access the menu with a different key?In the "change controls" tab,the menu back option is greyed out and I can't change it.Is there a workaround?

There might be a console command for it, like in tf2 how you can type "bind function escape" or whatever. I wouldn't know the command though. You can type a word, then hit tab, and the console will display possible completions of your command. Try typing "Find_all" and then hitting tab ;D

Are you having this probelm on a single-player map? If so try a multi-player one and see if it's still there. If a singleplayer map is compiled without have the sp pause menu tags, it will still successfully compile, but you will not be able to bring up he menu.

Let's see.The key itself doesn't work.It's broken.I use a laptop so a new keyboard isn't exactly ideal.
EDIT:No luck trying to change the key or use the console to use the menu. Edited by Dumb AI on Apr 1, 2012 at 02:13 PM |
