I'm new on the forums and new to map making ... .but I have a map request.

Is it possible to have a Sauctary_Final that has AIs?

It'll be seriously cool......

It's possible but AI don't sync very well at the moment.


Unless you donate a few mil' to sparky for the source code

or unless adolif's ai syncing program its magically fixed and a map of that its patched and reescripted

I wonder if its possible to have the AI using the drop pods too.

But I don't think it'll know how to exit the drop pod :/

By the way , is Halo CE v1.09 the most played on? If not , which version is the most used?

The pirated one.
v1.0 (I think)

But you can rarely find anyone that speaks english on that version.

if you want to downgrade, you have to reinstall.

one thing to do is update (or reinstall and update) to 1.07 and then you can use version changer to use whatever version you want.

It wasn't about the AI themselves syncing, it was about moving unmanned vehicles around on the hosts PC that looked like the AI, while all AI where invisible. These vehicles positions synced to clients, so they could see where the AI was. You just have to remove them when the AI died to show clients it was dead as well. Projectile syncing is just a flag at the bottom of each gun, turn off the "client side" part so host decides all projectile related things.

Its more about functionality than high quality visuals, since if you wanted to display any animations, you would need to use multiple vehicles per AI. I'll probably make a few more demo maps this summer to make sure everyone understands these points.

Update to 1.09, install OS, in console type: game_change_version_id true "1.00"
You can also grab a main menu yelo file that has the option in it if you don't want to type it every time. I released an example one a while back. http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=topic&topicID=40375 10th post has the example ui.yelo if you want it.
