so before any of you read this beware that there may be spoilers

























that being said if youve read the greg bear books you know that 343 gs was actually known as a human named chakas and he is still very much alive and thinks he knows where to find the librarian. the flood(/precursors their kinda the same thing now) is prolly going to be back and is now "testing" humanity as carriers of the mantle it also hints that the didact (bornstellar makes everlasting) is very much alive and u cant really gather from the books whether the forerunners are going to be friends or foes. but from the books they are very much alive in atleast one if not more shield worlds. or on the "greater" ark (yep theres 2) and i really hope we get to visit the 7th or "rogue" halo which used to be 3 times its "current" size and is now covered in clouds. also does anybody have thoughts on the captive? the last precursor who was infact a type of gravemind that the didact killed in the reverse of a timelock? is he really the last one? all i know is that if humanity is friendly with the forerunners, the precursors wont aprove. thoughts?

Nevertheless, it was interesting.

I read a fan fic which was similar wher MC lands on Sangheilios and is about to get executed when Johnson and Arbiter show up and save him. UNSC and Elites are at war again,. Flood breaks out on Sangeheilos, MC wakes ends up on Onyx with other Spartans. He finds MB 032 and Didact, who is still alive in a slipspace bubble. Halsey is also there btw. They escape to earth, Elites try to get help form UNSC, and the Dumb new Admiral, Eden refuses, and then they go anyway, trying to destroy eliutes. They eventually all team up, with the Covenant included, fight on Earth, make a big plan, go back, Cole comes also later on, they try to make it too the Gravemind, which escapes on a flood ship while Eden goes rogue and Mendez is on Halo as back up, Gravemind escapes on a ship, MC goes after it, Kelly dies, sacrificing herself for Atbiter, Johnson, and Chief, MC hates Cortana for going against him, they become friends again, get to Gravemind, MC finds out the HUmans WERE the Precursors, and then is infected with flood but survives, dies later from something else, MB who killed Gravemind turned into Gravemind's memories ina way and uses the flood pathogen to bring Chief back to life. They all retire, Elites go too Earth temporarily, and John who retired comes back to train Spartan IV's

Also, Gravemind was developed by Precursors so they could reach Immortality, idea is similar to AI: Memories are all same, but the person/construct is not. The Gravemind was like the central thing, etc etc etc

And the Gravemind was actually on Sangheilos, and they were fighting some Flood on earth, realized too strong due to gravemind, didnt want to abandon earth but killed gravemidn first, then came back.

ANd the book also suggested that F.Runner AI were all coded, not Flash clones.

yeah but the greg bear stuff aint fan fic... its cannon nao :) no the original didact was killed and now bornstellar, the protagonist of cryptum, is the didact. yeah i agree tho and primordium was quite a nice read
