We already have commentary for killstreaks, don't we? I've not played Slayer for a long time but I seem to remember we do have commentary for multiple kills. Also, HaloRank is awesome and has killstreak stats I think Seems to be undergoing maintenance atm though, which I only just noticed after getting the link for you. I've not been on the site for ages. What could be going on in this "construction"? o.O

I'm interested in Higuy's Longsword bomb run as a killstreak but have no idea how it would be integrated into multiplayer. That said, with the presence of vehicles in Halo, killstreaks don't really have a place.

I think Killstreaks COULD be a good edition, but not just COd ones, because they wouldn't really work. How about Halo-like ones? Like map specific ones using OS and other updates on the engine? I would particularly love an infection one where debris from a ship or something, like in Halo 3, crashes and releases flood. I dunno how it would work in multiplayer, but it'd be cool. Halo's empty enough without newbies being scared away by pros calling airstrikes on them every few seconds. Instead, I think players should just be given extra points on Halorank.com.

This may be a shock to some people here, but just because someone doesn't agree with you, it doesn't make their opinion any less valid.
Personally, I don't think kill streaks have anyplace within Halo's multiplayer. Maybe for fighting AI/Bots, but not multiplayer. However this is just my opinion and that does not mean anyone can't make them anyway. I am just stating my point of view on the subject.

We definitely need killstreaks for whatever firefights people make. Imagine that-sentry gun, air strike, and maybe even a Nuke! Man, that would make firefight as delectable as sauce.

I like the ideas of having kill streaks while fighting AI in a firefight level perhaps. Otherwise, I find it very stupid and frustrating to some players who are trying to defeat the people up top in the match. Killstreaks in CoD is one of the reasons why I've found the game's multiplayer turning into crap.

yeah in ai awesome but in multiplayer it causes over 80% of players on your team which are 13 to rage quit when your getting hammered by killstreaks and losing so you are fighting a game of uneven odds of 1 to 16.

i can think of a way to script this i think but not positive id have to double check if the engine runs this way, but there is a gametype option i believe where every time u get a kill u run a little bit faster or something like that, so if u run faster i'm not sure but wouldn't that be adjusting your speed like that command does in dev mode, i can think of the command but theres like a gravity command or something, so if it did could u use a script to check what the value is and give u a killstreak accordingly?
